Susquehanna University prides itself on its diversity. The school does a lot to address issues in other countries from racism to terrorist attacks. By acknowledging such issues, Susquehanna creates a sense of unity on campus. On Friday, September 11th Susquehanna students created a flag memorial in honor of the 2, 819 lives that were lost in the September 11th attacks. The American flags represent the location of the attacks and give a sense of national unity following the attacks.
